Friend just acquired a 1941 Tok 39 tall and it has this bracket attached to the globe block off plate....attached with screws. It is painted the original color of the pump so its been on there for a long time. Wondering if anyone has ever come across this before. Dont know if it is factory or not but I figure it was there to attach an advertisement or something like that. Thanks.

I am guessing a home made sign or pricer box bracket.I would also think it was put on way after it was made.
Looking for Keystone,Pure,Sinclair,Texaco,Sterling and Gulf...Thanks, Brian

Kind of thinking some kind of sign/advertisement. The hole in the top of the bracket is small (1/8") and probably wouldn't hold a price box...inventive though.

If ya restore it and put a globe ring on the pump...I would be sure to keep the block off plate. Bolt it inside somewhere on frame. Good luck.

Definitely will keep it...part of the history of the pump. I'm sure we will be able to do something creative with it like the previous station owner did. Regards.
