OK... yesterday was nice, wife was gone.
So I got a chance to take apart (attempted)
my Bennett pump.
got the doors off, top off, most all the
screws removed, took the screw out of the end of the crank handle (the one that resets the numbers and makes the bell ring)...anyway
it won't come off....didn't want to bust
it off but I thought the end screw was the only thing holding it on...look inside the pump and there'a the rod that has all these pins in it that goes through the computer.
anyway... Help!.. the handle is all I need to get the side pannel off....
Oh and It's gonna be a Sinclair HC
once she's done.

I have taken many 700 aparts, and the handle is only held on by the screw. It is just stuck to the rod coming out of the computer. Just put a small chisel or an old small blade screwdriver in the small space between the handle and the rod and tap it with a hammer. A little WD-40 might help it come loose. Never had any trouble getting one off.

If the screw won't move Spray with pentrating oil then let set for a while. Set your screwdriver up to it and tap on end of screwdriver with hammer. Sometimes this will break loose the corrosion and allow the screw to backout freely. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys.... man then it's stuck!
I tried pulling, tapping and thought maybe it was screwed on counter clock wise or something... Whew!
I'll spray it and let it set overnight..
again thanks!
