I picked up this Pure Sign and Pole about a week ago. The pole is over 12' tall. The sign is more than 6' in diameter. The band is intact on the sign. The pole is missing the wings that help support the sign. There is one crease in the sign where it looks like it was hit or fell on something. Some rust, but everything is solid and heavy. Multiple pictures below.

I think the damage is typical of when they removed these signs and let them drop on the ground on one edge.
If you do go to Maggie Valley I know there will be a few guys who will be there probably looking for one of these.

Ballpark on the sign would be in the $300-$350 range. I've seen several of them sell in that range in the midwest.

The sign should fetch about $800 with the damage but with ring around it. Add $400 for incomplete pole assembly.
So average about $1200. Anything above that is going to be based on your own ability to upsell the sign to potential buyers.
In our area right now both Pure and the pole are in demand so prices have been up by a good bit. No offense to Lastgas but 300-350 hasn't been a normal slight damage 6ft price on the open market for about 3 years in the Southeast when the ring is present.

Carolinaskies if you read my post you'd see I said that was what they bring in the MIDWEST.

Completed ebay listings are one way to gauge the market. Completed auctions from various collector auctions is more accurate. There will always be anomalies with auction results and local auctions often realize higher prices than collector auctions. Swap meet sales are the best gauge of value.
Also note that the OP's sign is the plain version, and not the "Be Sure With Pure" version which usually commands a higher price.
