Ron... you're welcome - gotta remember, not everything on ebay is a fake.

And not selling out - just moving and cleaned out my garage/building... that picture was everything that I am wanting to sell. Figured I'd take a picture and post it since I hadn't sold anything for a couple months, my petro fund was getting low! Only had a cell phone for internet until tonight because of the move, so couldnt post anywhere but facebook

would like some Shell experts to weigh-in

The Second photo is my sign and it's dated 1930 I believe Randy's sign is mid to late 20's up to 1929.

When you say early...What are you talking...Previous to 28 the script would be different yes? No? I thought 27 and down had the embellishments on the ends of the letters. I still have the Shell Lubrication Lolli in my store...and its no red border, and no embellished lettering so I would think 28 or later. I would love to learn a FOR SURE ruling on these because I would call sign for 771 or whatever it sold for a STEAL.

i was the winner of this auction... got the sign yesterday. the sign is marked, its just very tiny and hard to make out because of the edge wear.

I had set my snipe up a couple days before it ended, and was very surprised when I won it. smile

But I have to admit, when I got on here later that night and saw this thread... I got a little nervous that everyone was calling it fake, lol.
