I'm looking at a Texaco Banjo Sign. The porcelain is very good on both sides. The person is asking $550 with post. Post needs sandblasting and no lights on post. Is thios a good buy. Thanks

SOUNDS LIKE A FAIRLY DECENT PRICE. SIGNS IN GOOD SHAPE GO FOR $300-$600 AND MORE DEPENDING ON CONDITION. MINE WAS A "6" AND I PAID $200! OFFER $500 FOR IT SAYING THE BLASTING WILL COST YOU A $150+/-. GOOD LUCK!

If I had the money to spare and the place to put up the pole, I'd snap it up. It's a pretty good deal - the sign without the pole is worth close to that. The pole isnt really that valuable but is really hard to find when you need one.
I'm trying to get a Gulf pole right now and its turning out to be a pain. People dont like returning calls... I figure I might end up spending 2 days labor and 200 bucks to get it.
