That has GOT to be a fantasy sign! I don't follow dealership signs, but all the lettering within the bowtie, slants to the left so badly, that I felt like I was sliding when looking at it!

Why do you think the first one is fake?

Looking at the completed auction, I have to agree with Dennis that the first one posted IMO is real.

Dave why do you think that first sign is fake?

Thanks
Mike

the sign looks good... but I would question the authenticity as well. Weren't all these signs double sided? They all were designed to hang from a mount.

It's true that the seller states that it is single sided, BUT...look at the last photo. A picture can speak 1000 words....This sign was painted over at some point. All the paint came off in 10 minutes with a little paint stripper. The back side is better than the side shown.

so you bought it Dennis? I'd say if its double sided its legit... the fakes I have seen of that sign are usually a much brighter shade of blue

The top original sign, all blue with white lettering was also re-popped by VC Signs (Vintage Concepts). I have a double sided that looks like the original above dated 4-00 VC Signs.
