I am almost finished with my matching 541's. Is there a trick to mounting the door hinges? I kept the two sets of hinges separate, but not top to bottom or front to back. The doors do not open as wide as I think they should. Also, not all the hinges are arched the same. Since the pump sides are straight, I see no reason for the hinges to be different.

Not sure about the hinges on a 541 but your pumps look great as does the rest of the room. Apparently you have the doors mounted and the fit well when closed. I wouldn't worry about how far they open unless you have a reason to open them a lot.....GB

Looks good. Looks, like you mounted a fridge in a lubster?

yea, I installed a small refer in a 1902 G & B Kerosene tank, then re-plumbed with brass pipe and installed a globe on top. Now I don't need it because wife says I have too many fridges.

These hinges are a bit difficult. They fit from the inside out with the curved part facing away from the door opening. Once they are mounted, you simply slide the doors onto the hinge pins. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Gotta love those 541's!
The hinges are all the same. If they are arched different it is because someone has tweaked them to adjust the way the door lines up when the door is closed.
Tom.
