I am going to sell my Mobiloil Gargoyle sign soon. Can anyone please help me out with the year. It is 30" x 22.5" Would I be accurate if I said it was from the 1920's? I did see the same sign for sale by 77859Charliey back in May of this year and Steve C. included a nice old picture. One image on Google Images said 20' or 30's. That is all I could dig up.

Thanks for any help,
Steve B.

I believe this sign was part of an Oil rack, for glass oil bottles. Most of the one's I've run across are buzzed along the top where it reads "property of vacuum oil company". Nice piece good luck with the sale.

As luminor89 said it came off a oil bottle rack.
