Smitht,
Here is what I have done to get paint codes if you can't find one on this site.
Hopefully you live in an area that has an automotive paint store that has been around for a long, long, long time.
Go in and ask to see the VERY OLDEST list of fleet colors. Most places want to look in the computer now, this won't work most of the time. You need one of the old, old books.
These old books are like gold and most stores keep them locked up in a back office. Some of the newer counter people don't even know they exist. I have gone back to the same paint store and been told they don't have such a book. Be patient and keep asking, somewhere you will find someone that has what you are looking for.
Good luck,
Ed

Smitht, Rust Collector is correct... i went in to do the same thing and was told the books are gone and the paint codes out of the books are in the computor now. WRONG... i bought a quart of Texaco red and it said Texaco red right there so i got it and it looked good in the can but after i shot it, it was not Texaco red. The colors they have in there computer are the new colors for todays stuff.

Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.
