I'm looking for a Vintage 1940's Dodge Power Wagon, I drove a 1941 around town for 10 years back in the early 80's and now my youngest son is interested in building one for his first driver. Not looking for a perfect one, just one he can drive and work on, He is 15 now so he(WE) have plenty of time to put into one. Let me know what might be out there. Here is the one I drove, spent more time in the woods and mud then on the roads.

Amazing truck. Good luck on your search. There was one around here Rick but it was in very very rough shape.
The most valuable commodity I know of is information-Wall Street

There were two for sale on the AACA forum in the last year. Both restored , least expensive one sold for $59K . Seems to be the most desirable truck right now. They come up on Craigslist a couple times a year. good luck in finding one to drive and enjoy. Fun vehicle.

These guys are all about Power Wagons. http://www.vintagepowerwagons.com/They have a great turnout for the annual rally. I bet they may know of few for sale.
If it was easy, anybody could do it.
Looking for nice, old soda signs, light-ups, and clocks. Mostly Pepsi and Mt. Dew.

Great trucks. There are companies that buy up all the old ones to turn them into a modern day 4x4's.

Thanks All, I am a member on Vintage Power Wagons, seems all the good ones are too far away. They are desirable but not rare by any means, as for price, just like anything, you have your cream of the crop for $50,000 and your bottom of the barrel for $500. There are plenty to be had in the $3000-$4000 range and that is what is desired.

Definitely one tough truck. We used one from the 60's at my business for years with a wrecker setup on the back. I used it all summer once empty of coolant. The engine would get snapping hot and shut it down until it cooled and it would fire right back up. Only problem is the armstrong steering in them and the 40 acres one needs to turn them. I still have the truck.

Thank you for the link, that is a different style than I am looking for, I have bought 3, 1941-42 WC military dodges along with 2 trailers full of NOS and used parts in the past month, I am sticking with 1941-42 only so I don't get carried away like I do in every other hobby I start. I am looking for trucks and parts like these pictured;

same here, I'm a Chevy guy all the way but these have a soft spot in my heart, could be because I drove one in a great time of my life.

Did anyone see the one in Hershey this year. It was in the Greenfield. Awesome and he drove it from Jersey. Tires looked a little rough for that ride, but I was not driving behind him...

There must have been quite a few configurations of these old trucks. Mine is a 1942 and has the front-end like the pickups but the rest like a military truck.
