Hello,I am trying to get a barn fresh Wayne 100 pump bought,little to no rust,many layers of paint,1 broken glass,and painted over ad glass.
My question is what is "the going rate" for such a thing,I have looked on e-bay and have found them in similar condition around $400 and up.Is this about right?
I want to make sure I am fair with the owner as he has other things I may be able to buy in the future.I don't want him to think I'm cheap,and I definitely don't want to overpay!

Big difference in value between a Wayne 100 and a 100-A and a 100-B. Do you really have a 100? (not A or B) A photo would help.

has the ad glass below the pump face,I think it is a 100 at least?

I would say $400-$600. I know that is a broad range Shawn, but there are a lot of things to consider. To be more specific, what is there? Is the door glass there? Does it come with a nozzle? Did the previous owner put pump plates on it (you can re-use or sell if not the brand you like)? How do the face plates look? What I'm trying to say is if none of that is there, $400 might be a good deal. If all of that is there, $600 might be a good deal, because you wont have to replace a lot. You said little to no rust - that is a plus. I just bought one last month in pretty good shape. It is under the showcase forum, BOTW October 6-12 if you want to look at it. No ad glass, but it was very straight, no rust, glass was good, came with a nozzle, face plates are almost flawless. I think I overpaid a little at $600 (because I like ad glass pumps and everything around Michigan is expensive), but I already have someone lined up for it after I restore it, which obviously played a factor. You can also always compare what other pumps sold for on Old Gas (use the Google search at the bottom right) or on E-bay (sold listings). Like Jim said, a photo would definitely help. Hope this all helps a little.

First off,it's missing 1 door glass,it has a looong....hose and common nozzle,it has Sinclair ad glass painted over,and is sporting a Sunoco paint job and signs.
Pump plates look good also.
It has been inside for a long time,until recently.(I need to get it!)it is straight off the farm!
I don't think I would restore it,as I like original pumps,just may replace the ad glass and missing door glass.

I don't know how I came up with a Wayne 70 out of all that. I deleted that post.

If the Sunoco plates are original, that will affect the final number on the pump.

i think $400-$600 is a good range. looks like the base is cracked, would have to find someone that can weld cast in order to repair.

There were some 100's with cast aluminum frames, as well.

$400-$600 sounds fair. The base you can weld/repair yourself with a mig welder...not a difficult task.

...should be an inexpensive/relatively easy restoration...the pump signs and globes aren't expensive, and the paint scheme is pretty basic...
