Yes they are. Those cans are especially desirable as they are transitional cans from when North Star bought out Prairie Cities Buffalo and ran the logo on their cans for a few years. Don Cooper can give a little more history on the cans but I believe they are 1936-40ish. Globes aren't easy to come by either.

I am sure Don can give us more detail, but I thought those green Buffalo tins were 1938 only.

All the Buffalo cans at the auction did very well. It was quite a sight to see them all in the display case.

Sorry, I can't give any more info on the quart. It was around the time that North Star bought out Buffalo, 1938 I believe, but for how long I just don't know. My head is still spinning from the auction. It was my birthday on Saturday so I gave myself some really nice presents but no Buffalos to add to the herd. I thought they would go through the roof and they did. Luckily I was looking elsewhere to buy. A lot of items I felt went quite reasonable. I may retract that statement once the boxes arrive but it was still a fun day on the computer. Cheers, Don.

That's a price of $4350 on that can with the buyer fee and taxes in Ontario. Wonder if the buyer had a little remorse come Sunday morning? Earl
