I think they made an oval shaped globe. A friend of mine who had a windmill business but also use to sell a lot of pumps told me he was at a swap meet here in Ohio one time and someone had left behind 8 or 9 sets of oval-shaped Thunderbird lenses laying out on the ground. This was back in the 70's when this hobby wasn't such a big deal. The guy either couldn't sell them or he just left them there by mistake. No pictures, sorry. Good Luck pal.
