Hi guys, Newbie question here. Only started collecting oil and gas this year after hanging around my uncle, and having a new garage to decorate. My favourite brand to collect is an old local brand that got bought out by esso in the 1970's called Home. I happened to find and buy a pair of pump doors that are logo'd and full of patina, and have a matching globe as well, but I have no idea what pump they came off of. Surfed for the last while on Google images but haven't seen anything from Tokhiem or Gilbarco that looks the same. Any info appreciated, as I definetly want to put together a "rustoration" type pump with these! Thanks Mike

What pumps sell for in the US is different then what they sell for in the Fraser Valley.

Wow that was quick! How common are Bowser 575? And what can a guy expect to pay for a unrestored but complete one? 400- 700 in a auction setting for a nice one in the Midwest IMO . Buddy of mine bought this one a few weeks ago in that range. Nice orginal straight bowser 575 . Pic is one the second auction page. http://www.mancheauctionservice.com/index_files/page0007.htm
I like SINCLAIR and old American made stuff ... No china items.

Thanks for all the info guys! What a great forum. Nice to see some pics of what it should look like all put together. Super pumped to try and find one now, no pun intended. Ya I wouldn't even expect to find one up here Dave, new to oil and gas, but been collecting car stuff for years, always buying south of the border.

Nothing wrong with the trailer or the load. 18 pumps at 250 lbs each=4500 lbs. Well within my 10,000 lb GVW.

Mike Just keep your eyes and ears open. I see them in Washington for $400-$700. I am going to Seattle Monday morning to take a look at a pair of Tokheim 39 talls for $1300. Pumps are still out there. Not sure if this 585 is still available. Picture taken at the Monroe swap meet. http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/atq/4710508056.html
