Thank you for the info Jack. Does the pump your restoring have the bracket that holds the dome down? Mine doesn't and I was wanting to figure out how to make one. Thank you

There are two versions of the 409, manly the dome and the handle are different. My 409s have a large dome that extends outward from the cylinder, the other version has a smaller dome that is close to the cylinder.

My 409 is complete, I just have to remember how to put it back together, did take a lot of pictures though.

Let me know which one you have.

Jack

Hi Jim,

I have a large dome on my 409. Is there any chance I could take pictures of your 409? I am from the Hermann area so I am not that far from St Louis. I have another dome in excellent shape. I am not sure what make of pump it goes to. I will let you have it to compensate your time and trouble. If you like a picture let me know and I can email it to you. Thanks much.

JonP
