Does anyone know what this is? The only name on it is on the cap. The name is BOYCO. It also has a pouring lip on it. Also, do you know what BOYCO is or what company it was? http://www.ssb8.net/users/32355/boyco_can_002_quick_e-mail_view.jpg

A couple of days ago I announced my new website: www.petrolianacollectibles.com and I stated I would begin posting pages that could be downloaded and printed out, put in a loose leef book, an carried with collectors. One of the first pages I said I would be doing, was pages showing all the bulk cans made and explaining what they were use for. Look for the first page in a few days.

Any idea how much a can like that one above is worth?

Jack will that link also have the worth of the cans? I will have to save that link.

Thank you.

Thanks to all of you kind folks that took the time to help me identify this BOYCO can for me. I knew that it wasn't a milk can just because it was sitting next to a milk can at an estate sale last weekend. Some guy even complimented me on the "very unusual milk can" I had purchased. (LOL)

The pouring lip is the only part that prompted me to try to research beyond bulk oil can; I haven't found any with that lip on it, only regular caps on them. But with everyone's help I can now post it on Craigslist or flea-market it with the confirmation that it's not a rare collectible. If I Ebay it the shipping would probably be double the selling price.

Also thanks especially to Rainat for cluing me in on your fabulous website. It makes my day when I come across such nice people that go out of their way for others.

Have an enjoyable day everyone and kind regards, Jeannie AKA "rubbertreeant" (ebay)
