I had a guy offer me a blue glass cylinder, 12 1/2" x 26", today for $250. From everything I've been seeing, that is a steal. Question is, this cylinder is really clean, edge is super smooth, and there are few small distorted areas in the glass, are there any reproductions out there in blue glass? Or is this the real deal?

I do not believe that anyone has used blue glass for repros as of now. You can't buy a repro for less than that price anyhow. Blue cylinders bring 400 and up. It's a steal, go for it!!!

I bought the cylinder Saturday. Looks mint, I don't think it has ever been on a pump.

...not sure that are NO repros in blue glass...seems like Miles Little was selling repro cylinders, and I thought they were blue tint...anyone out there bought any repro cylinders from Miles??...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
