I did all the panels but the red was just to fare gone. Under the lead signs the red is bright and shiny.

A little progress made today thanks to the advice from Jim and Matt. Still have allot of cleaning to do on it but this is only twenty minutes into it.
Now to decide if I try to find original shields as I can see in the outline or put the pump plates back on.

What a transformation. Was that done without applying any new paint? No paint was applied...I first washed the panels with degreaser, with the red I simply used rubbing compound and a variable speed buffer, the white I used diluted muriatic acid and a scotch brite pad. It cleaned up better than I expected.
