I agree it was a good buy, I was disappointed to miss the buy it now for $4000 and forgot to go back and put a bid in. I figured it would have gone substantially higher. Although painted, it's a unique sign with the open neon channel letters. Congrats to the new owner!

If it were porcelain, I would agree, 4500. for a painted tin sign, personally, I think is pretty good money.

I agree it's a lot for a painted sign, but I thought the unique channel letter styling And good original condition made it worth more. If it were a flat painted Bowtie I'd say that was plenty high.

I went to $4000.00 really thought that was to much but I could have got it delivered to Oklahoma free. You could copy that sign a lot cheaper if you weren't wanting it just for the age.

Jefferson, you were either light or heavy on the $4k. Jumped from $3700 to $4225. It's headed to the Antique Advertising book writer. Should see it again in mint condition at a hefty reserve price laugh
