It was mainly oil and grease residue on it. The 409 cuts the grease. But you have to be careful and patient as you go. I have had a few instances when rubbing to hard where the 409 ate at the graphics on a can or two. Then I just use a dish soap and warm water. Steve Coppens Always interested in Sunoco items!
