on the way home sunday i saw this in a drive.stopped and rang the bell,but no answer.i snapped this from a distance,cause i did not want to tresspass,but i know the  location.is this even a pump?i was not sure.  [This message has been edited by oldnfuelish (edited 11-27-2005).]

Mick that is a pre visible pump. I can tell you the make or anything but it was worht checking out. Hope you had a good trip good day for it

BOWSER Fig. 102 in the closed position. When open, the stack & bell are rasied about 30", has a swing out pump handle.

Hello,
I believe that is a Bowser 102 Previsible. I have had two of these and now have one. I would be willing to sell my other one if you or anybody else is interested. I also have a GB 65(?) Previsible for sale in primer if anybody is interested.

You are a funny guy Mick lol Jacks book puts a value on this at $1200 for the Bowser 102. It is from 1911 & can have a globe on top. I always deduct from condition dents rust & missing parts. I would start of at a couple hundered & go from there.

...oldnfuelish, you should get Jack Sim's book on gas pumps - it's a wealth of information, and worth twice the price! It will help you identify just about anything out there - I'm sure there aren't many on Oldgas who'd disagree...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
