A very cool pump landed on ebay today, guess the final price. I will be looking through my garage to pick a prize out. I'm wondering by looking at it in J Sim's book it looks to be missing the top with the finial piece? any ideas ! If so I don't know how much that will affect the final bid.I'll guess around book value 4000.00

It's a BOWSER 300-E [electric], also made as a;
300-A = Air
300-H = Hand
300-R = Remote
Very few were sold with globe tower [option].
I have a 300-D = ?? [my guess is Diesel, but pump mech. was gone when I bought the pump].
I made a Twin, but can't find any proof that BOWSER did.

This is fun!! Maybe we're on to something here. You could run one a week for say.....3 or 4 months and give points based on how close you came and tally up the points for a top winner or 2 after the time period ends. Just a thought mind you. Dave

Anybody happen to notice that the person that 'stepped up to the plate' to buy this pump doesn't seem to be a Gas Geek?
Looking at the Buyers Feedback, he seems to buy a bunch of old fishing tackle and old bricks. Not the normal Gas Pump Collector.

Good spot, Jim....you'd think that anyone willing to drop 4 large and change, plus shipping, on an unrestored pump would be a gas/oil kind of person. Doesn't seem like a typical impulse buy.
