Its called "original" with dimensions of 20"x24." I have seen this size sold as a reproduction and sold for $199 by RC Media Collectables.

The other ORIGINALS that I have seen sold at auction were
21 3/4" x 25 1/2"

Is there a makers mark on true originals and where might it be located? Are there ways other than size to identify and original?
Thanks!
Dave

That patina would be very hard to recreate. That sign looks like it has spent a very long time exposed to the elements. If there is a makers mark it would be on the flange.

That is a cool sign, I like the patina on it.

...I think the seller was just being lazy measuring the sign...can't imagine that sign's a fake...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
