Local gas and oil companies did. My dad ran a plumbing supply company and I remember him in the 60's and 70's trading Ridgid bikini girl and their company nude calendars with all the service station/local oil companies for theirs. We always had a few in our home garage and the back rooms of his supply company.

It looks fantasy to me without it having the company information on it as they always advertised their name and location on them.

Thanks
Mike

I have never seen company calendars with nudes on them, that's just wild. You definitely would not see that in these times!

Nude calendars were extremely popular, I have several from local Gas Stations, Pubs, Barber shops, etc. most dating from the 50's and 60's

...there are a LOT of these out there, that were blanks, that were later printed with appealing oil company logos to make them more salable...usually it's just a company logo and name, and no business name/address/phone number - which makes no sense, if you stop and think about it...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

While there are real "pin up" type calendars from service stations, auto parts stores, etc., the one referenced in the original post is not.

There is a pusher of fake calendars in California. He advertises in Antique Trader and has been selling them for twenty years. Antique malls are littered with the phony calendars. He also sells other phony items, ephemera, negrobilia, etc. mixed in with real stuff.

Looking for photos, etc from 60s era Shell-A-Rama gas station and Pal's Diner, Rt. 17 Mahwah, NJ
& US or state highway signs, shields, route markers

As a man that graduated in 1955 I'll guaranty you would not see that in 1952 only in National Geographic Magazine. My outlook on sex would be different today. Mitch

We built a house for a guy that had White rose and later Conoco stations. He had nude calendars advertising his stations dating back to the 1930's.

Wanted: Gas pump globes:Sinclair & affiliates, IL companies. Ripple bodies. Anything Sinclair, Stoll, Pierce, 4 Bros.

Lastgas, I think you missed my point. I worked in a Standard station from 1952 to 54 and if we had hung up a calendar like that we would have been fired because it would have run off our female customers. Has teenage boys we were never ever taught any thing about the female anatomy. The only thing you ever learned was from looking at the pictures in National Geographic Magazine and in the back seat of my 47 Ford. I found a nude picture of a lady in a junk car in the junk yard behind the station and me and my buddies treasured it. And she was not good looking. Have no idea what happened to that picture. Just memories from the past. Mitch

I remember as a teenage boy my grandfather having several pin up calendars in the bathroom at his house. They were from the Phillips 66 in that small town. His had a cellophane cover with skimpy clothing you could lift and showed her nude. I will never forget that. My grandmother was such a devout religious person and how he ever got those is the house is beyond me.
