I have built a diner style bar and badly need some metal 50s style trim for the top, some nice corner trim for the corners and more. Anyone out there know who makes this kind of trim? I know its off topic but I though if anyone knew it would be you folks.

Cant help on the diner table stuff, but anyone know where I can get, the following;

#1 Aluminum trim (for a neon clock, used for signs too) about an inch wide a bit rounded on front, about 1/4 inch thick. It is thin aluminum over wood, open showing wood on back.

#2 Looks like 7/8 round bar with a continuous slot or keyway on one side, but made from tubing??? Used for a 30 Buick McLaughlin window edge.. I can make this out of solid aluminum and weld together, its the joints that are tricky..originals are thin tubing but rot out.

Anyone know a source for this, let me know, Thanks dodogas

hey fish: i build cabinets and furniture when i'm not chasing pump stuff. in your town there is a plastic laminate counter fabricator who can help you. he can hook you up with the guys who make "t moulding" that is maybe d-shaped aluminum with a barbed edge at 90 degrees which fits into a kerf in the top. happy hunting. you can send me a wayne 60 for the advice. good luck
