Ebay# 151551504962

Well, here's your chance boys! He's actually trying to get one sold on ebay. He'll probably get it done too and then some poor sap will have to deal with it a few years into the future.
He doesn't say anything about having them marked as reproduction--but he brags about how you can't tell the difference, unless someone tells you!

I doubt he will sell one. In my opinion, the price is too high for a repro. I don't care how nice it is.

Yes, this has been my beef for quite a while on big dollar repro pumps. Glad to see you jump in Kevin as I was going to start a thread again to get my head beat on here.
He will sell some for sure if not on ebay then some will contact and then make a sale directly. Like I said earlier, they WILL pop up at BJ and someone will make the buy and it will be passed on without knowledge.
Tough, just as the repro Shell sign was sold there.

Fizzled out at the end with $4000 bid and "reserve not met".
I imagine someone bid the 4K for the parts?

I see that at least one of the listings has a no longer available on it. Like I said, there will be people buying these and doing them and then in the future they will be passed off as originals. Can you imagine a car collector being called out for passing off a repro for original? No one would know and the seller would not want to give out the info.
