Hi guys, I have a chance to buy this sign it is 2-sided. Not sure if it is a repo or not it looks antique but i want to be sure. She is 19 1/2 by 27 1/2. Is $450 a good price? Thanks! Dan

The reason your not getting any answers on your question? no one knows. its tin sign. and they have made reproductions of this sign . but as far as this one goes . untill you can hold it and really look good at it, I wouldn't buy it. but its up to you. I know this isn't what you wanted to hear but 450.00 is a lot to pay for a tin sign and theres a big question mark hanging over it. good luck.

Dan,
I can't tell if its original by the picture. If it were an original it should be worth much much more. Its worth the effort to find someone that can tell you for sure if its an original or repro.

I cant bring up the pic without agreeing to or loading something. If I could I still cant place a value on it, not knowing the availability of them.

However i will say this, not all tin signs are valuable but many are for the simple fact that they dont survive as well as porcelain. What would downgrade porcelain condition a few number on a scale of 1-10 will generally kill a tin sign. They generally are thinner, got cut up more often, got folded over, and rusted all over more often. So if is from the 30's or older it could be relatively scarce. Keep that in mind when placing a value on a tin sign...dodogas

Same reason as early scarce tins still bring great money in mediocre condition, right Oldtoydoc??

Dodogas,
Just click "open". Its safe. IF the sign is original its from the teens or twenties. Very graphic.
