Got a call from a friend yesterday, he just picked up a tractor, and there are some old gas pumps laying in the woods. The guy was cleaning up the property and they were going to the scrap yard next week. I went and picked them up this morning. The Tokheim is solid, but missing doors. The Wayne 60 is pretty much shot on the side that was face down in the leaves for so many years, but has 2 nice porcelain signs.

Ed, nice find! I have an extra side panel for a Wayne 60 if you're interested. It will need some work, but it's solid. Vern

Very neat find.....I always wonder when I'm passing old farms how many woods contain pumps in the old scrap piles. My grandparents were farmers and I remember this size of their scrap metal piles back in the 1980's. I would guess the pumps on their farms were either thrown in the piles or grandpa dug a hole and buried them.

Love to hear about a story like this. There has to be a bunch more out there like this. And of all the pumps to find, a Wayne 60! You can save it! It will be a fun project.
Tom.
