This is my SSE 76 before I got a visi for it. I have it torn down and blasted right now and prepping for primer and paint.

Matt thanks for doing this. I will not see many of these pumps in real life so I appreciate the chance to see them here in such detail. Now if I can remember one tenth of what you've shown so far!

Thanks for the complements. Glad you are enjoying it, it is a lot of work. Future ones may not have as much information. Bennetts are one of my favorite pumps and I own several. I am thinking about one in the future for 600, 700, 900 and 1000 series Bennetts.

bennett 391, does anyone have one? I can not find any information on one. This one was on ebay a while back. It looks like a 546 but has a 300 series on-off lever and the ID says 391 but is a newer style ID tag. They did not show the inside and wonder if it has a pipe frame.

Here is an original oil painting I bought. There were no prints made of it so it is a one and only. While image surfing I found the image that was used to do the painting.

Thanks for posting your 76 frame. I did not mention that the 76 and 77 had a pipe frame. Most pumps before the late 30s had pipe frames. There are some pumps that the frame is part of the visable outer portion like Wayne 60s, M&S 70s and G&B 70, 80, 86.

Here is a close up of the non-computer face. Notice there is no total dollar amount, just how much per gallon. That is why it is a non-computer, it does not calculate the total price. it just shows the gallons dispensed. It also only has one totalizer (little slot with tiny numbers)instead of two.
