I have a Tokheim 1063 nozzle and would like to wire a switch in the handle. I am going to get the motor kit from Kevin Frith and would like to be able to activate the motor from the nozzle. Took the nozzle apart but not sure how I can wire it and keep the spring.

There was a thread on this topic some time back and although I remember reading it, I don't remember the particulars. I do remember some comments by members regarding the possibility of electrical shock from something like this. I have never wired one like this and have instead opted to use the nozzle rest and a shaft attached to a switch for activation. Surely someone on here remembers the thread or has actually done this and can give the fellow some guidance?

I would use a micro switch in the nozzle and utilize a low voltage circuit to activate a relay that would control and power the 110V motor. That would eliminate any chances of a electrical shock via the nozzle.
