I see them at auctions for sale and at car shows. I've never felt very comfortable buying one as they look like such an easy item to reproduce. The originals were crudely cast as they were park passes designed to be used for one season before being discarded and replaced with next years.

I also run into them at auctions and swap meets. I've seen certain years command highish prices. Great logo but at those prices I am not "into" it. I saw a fairly large collection of them go for 3k including the oak display cabinet.

Just a little information about them. They were made from 1925-1940. There are three main styles with the 1925-1931 being what is known as the "walking" buffalo, then 1932-1938 were the standard kind, and lastly 1939-1940 were a license plate topper. They came in brass, copper, and steel? The choice of material alternated every year. The first 3 years command the most money, as they are undated and can only be identified by the material used. There was a couple years that had a small fraction produced in another material, which are quite rare (I think that is the case with the $850 ebay example).

I just added these three to my collection. A 1928 Walking Buffalo, 1939 Topper and a 1931 Moose Jaw Park pass.
