I have the opportunity to buy a Firestone neon sign that is 8' x 30" (that's eight feet wide). It's the red & white version that hung over a delearhsip. Both sides are porcelain and in very good shape. The neon is broken on both sides but most of it is still there.

Here are the questions:

Estimated value in as is condition?

Estimated value with working neon?

Should I split the sign and create two single sided signs (might be easier to display for some)?

What is one side with working neon worth?

Anyone out there interested in one side?

This is not the actual sign that I am looking at but these are the colors. On the sign I' m considering the bowtie logo is die cut and letters are in neon.

Others will have to give you answers to most of you q's, but I would be interested in half this sign should you decide to go that way.

I would think a neon would be worth more than a non neon sign. If the neon is broke at all it will need replaced as the gas is gone. I would say a rough value $300-$500 range.
