Here is the Greek Column pump...
Very cool what all it did! Heck I have found all kinds of info about things on these pumps that I always woundered what they did. I was looking at the Fry SpeedBoys and they were pretty hi-tech for there time.

This is kinda cool too - the drawings for the Tokheim 39 tall - look at their original plans for a car window meter that the drivers could look at. Can you just think how many pumps would have been tore up by cars driving off with that attached? >> Not all ideas are great huh? http://www.google.com/patents?vid=USPAT2348769&id=Em5NAAAAEBAJ&pg=PA16-IA1&dq=DISPENSING+APPARATUS+OF+THE+VISIBLE+TYPE&num=100#PPA16-IA1,M1

I just found the prints for that - it is strange.
I also find it strange and new to me that the Wayne company did the majoroity of the desings for ALL of the other companies. Most Frys and Bowser pumps as well as the tokheims were designed under commission of Wayne.

I restored the insides of a 950-A, for a freind to use on his farm. I used the origional tok. pumping unit, a later 898 meter and restored the clock . It pumped 9 1/2 GPM, it was something to see that dinosaur breathing again. I got chills.... Joe

YES I did find the computer patents both standard and clock works styles - lots of different ideas on them - but I can not remember what there numbers were - if I run into them again I will post them here.
I have found patents for almost everything on the pumps down to the gallon indicaters.

Hey Joe
Search in the lines of this
register or clock assembly of the computing type
Try to very the details and add the names of the pump compaines and then the date ranges they would have been made - 1928-1940 era.
Good Luck - show me what you find! If you come across any Bowser C-110 styles or Fry Speedboy prints let me know.
