I am trying to figure out what the correct style of light or globe belongs on top of the G&B 55 shown here. The top globe base is much larger than the more standard 5" globe base. Ive seen very few of the G&B 55 pumps and none with a globe. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

These are a few of the first pumps and lubesters that I recently purchased. I think I have the bug!

Thanks,
Scott

G&B 55 shown with globe on page 157 of my book. It is in the right hand corner and is marked G&B 35, this was a mistake, it is a 55.

Information and pictures are also shown on this page of my website: http://petrolianacollectibles.com/gb%2055.htm

Most likely took a Standard globe with a 7" base. Would have been a 1 piece baked globe or large 16".

Jack - this is a ball globe, right? Do you know if there are any repros around? Are originals ever seen at a reasonable cost?

The base is almost 8".

They made a 7-6 cast globe reducer and a 6-7. I have had them both over the years. That might be an option for you. From time to time they sell on ebay. If you are looking for a BALL globe - totally round 14-16 diameter they sell them online with 6 & 8" bases.
