Are you talking about the 5 gal. bulk cans?
No Oil Company that I have researched had 1 gal cans, made specifically for them... Some Stations, put their names and/or a decal on a 1 gal can... But, I've not seen one; That was "embossed" with an Oil Company name as was some of the bulk 5 gals.
Looking for Tide Water/ Tide Water-Associated/ Tidewater items

I don't think any oil companies made 5 gal. gas cans..... what I have seen over the years are 5 gal. "oil" cans that were repurposed for gas cans very similar to the one on the link OTDP posted..... they were awfully handy for that on the farms back in the day then the tractors were much smaller and the gas tanks held less then 10 gal.
Here is a pretty ugly one on ebay that the seller says is "original"..... 231382035015
