Well it's been a good week for the Oilzum collection. Finally landed a nice example of a curb sign I've wanted for some time. Also scored a great scrapbook from the White & Bagley Co which management put together in 1950 showing examples of all the posters, handouts, promotional material, postcards etc they handed out during that time period. There is a ton in there but I took a few pics to show some stuff.
Mainly focused on Oilzum, Jenney, Harris Oil items & original paint gas pumps.

Great buys, love the Oilzum stuff. My Barrett Jackson buy is the excellent Dura rocker can and my Peotone buy is the early Champion thermometer.

Nice Stuff!!!! Kind of a down week until Saturday morning, i went to see my buddy Phil and got the Texaco from him. While i was in town, i went by to check on another old friend and picked up two NOS Pennzoil Flanges (you can see the paper on one of them), a NOS 30" Valvoline and a 8" x 12" Texaco PP...Turn out to be a good week for me....

hello all, i got this globe a few weeks ago from a man who found it in the attic of a Mobil station he bought in 1946.
I do not recall seeing it in any of the books and a buddy has my globe cd so any thoughts or info would be welcomed.

Heres what I brought back from my Peotone trip. The Socony came from the Brinkman auction. I've always wanted one and this one is pretty good condition, so I stuck my hand up!
The Koolmotor curb sign is a Craigslist buy that I picked up in Minneapolis on the way home.
The cans all came from vendors at Peotone, except for the Texaco Airplane oil can. It came from the Brinkman sale. The 8 inch Texaco lubester plate was another auction item!

Michelin is almost 7 feet long, probably from the 70s. Varta is a Swedish or possibly German battery brand and this sign is advertising the possibility to get your battery recharged.

Stopped by the local antique mall after work yesterday, found the Mens Room Porcelain sign. Was told it is from Associated Tidewater. It is in super condition.

Claes the pic is small but I think this sign came from Belgium, usually they were produced and placed to last around 10 years before a new design came but as it's from late 70's after that porcelain sign were not produced anymore, they were replaced by plastic signs
