Sorry if this is common, but some of my Home cans have these friendly little reminders on the bottom of the cans that would of course been visible while You where dumping the quart in your car. I always thought it was clever.

A few I have. The little yellow tin is a NOS water pump packing for a Pontiac.
Oilzum, 1qt Oil Cans, Gas and Oil smalls, Oldsmobile collectables.

Here's a few Cities Service can lids, and the Crew-Levick is probably the oldest one. as it dates into the early 20's. The Koolmotor lid is the top of an early quart can.

Heres an early Penn Union can top on a Farmers Union can, the top of a later Veltex quart, the embossed top of my Cities Service "AERO" quart, and the top of a small Texaco grease can.

Thought I would add a couple more Mobil related lids.... WW2 jar...... A couple Mobil Lustre Cloth tins...... Sanilac Grease...... And last, a couple other brands I have.....
