Does anybody know if someone reproduces a pedestal for the AM2E?

Thanks,

Daryl

Too be truthful, there isn't enough Gilbarco air meters needing pedestals, nor is there any demand for someone to set up reproducing them.

Gas Pump Heaven offers an adapter that you can use to convert a ECO pedestal so that it will accept a Gilbarco meter. Chances are you will never find a Gilbarco pedestal for sale, as a matter of fact I believe I was the only one to offer one for sale about 15 years ago. So, purchase the ECO pedestal and the adapter so you can display your unit while you are waiting to find a Gilbarco pedestal, then when you do find one, it will be very easy to sell the ECO pedestal to get your money back.

I've made the AM2 and can make the E also but it will be expensive.

I've found the original cast base for my AM2E meter head although the story goes the meter had been driven into and damaged so the post was scrapped. I'm going to start on fabricating one as close to an original as possible but I require the height of just the middle metal post. Would anybody be kind enough to share a measurement if they have a meter? Thanks.

Some info for others that might be in the same situation with this meter. Another oldgas member was kind enough to steer me in the direction to Walt at pastgas. Walt sells these pedestals and says he will have a new shipment arrive in 2-3 weeks.
