Today I compiled all of the final sales results from the Walker Sign Collection by each lot and posted the results on our Facebook page. I also posted some pictures of the signs and a video we took before the auction started. The collection was simply fantastic.

There were a few head scratches and a few that sold at prices that astounded me, but what I am really curious to read is everyone else's observations.

So, if you happen to be on Facebook and would like to commend on the signs at this auction and the prices they commanded, please join in on the discussion. I would love to read your thoughts about particular signs and the auction in general, which you can find at:

Quite a nice link Chad. I actually sent money in with hopes of acquiring a few neons. Holy cow was I waaayyyyyy off. My first disappointment was the first Horsepower skin. My thinking was that it was one of the first items and maybe I could get for 4-5. Not the case:) Very large wallets floating around. All in all I thought all nice pieces went for about 15-20+% more then they should but that's good for Dana and Walker. Quite an exquisite collection. The ford tractor service arrows were killer I didn't even know they existed. I found myself bidding on the non gas and oil pieces for color and overall look but all kept climbing and climbing on price. Was all excited while at dinner glued to my phone Friday night waiting for the double side neon Mobil shield to go since prices were dropping. Then e phone said " auction ended":( obviously they held that over for the next day when there was more interest and money. Not cool but that's the name of the game. Oh well maybe next time.

Thanks for the link Chad, some strong prices but prices were not as high as I expected they would be on many of them.

there was a few that could be bought . But the vast majority were crazy . I know a guy with a Goodyear milkglass that must be smiling today smile . If people thought muscle cars got expensive , they must be having a heart attack when they see these results .

Glad to help. I found some of the bids head scratching, top of the list for me was the Tap Room sign from this lot:

I would enjoy reading everyone's observations about the auction and if you have comments about certain signs in particular. I organized all of the pictures in order of the lot they came up for auction, so you should be able to flip through the thumbnail pictures to the Lot # in question and post your point of view. Please share.
