That tank's top speed was only around the same as someone running on foot as the early tanks were solely support vehicles instead of cavalry. As for fuel consumption it probably was rated at GPH like most industrial equipment.
Another fact was that the shape was dictated by common trench designs of the era for width & breadth so the tank could cross them and not get stuck.
