I got tired of looking at this pump the way it was and I knew I would never get around to doing a nice restoration on it, so it got a quickie. It got a wash job then I got out some paint and a brush and painted it right where it sat. I have not decided if I want to put the wood stain on it to give it the patina rustoration look.

Didn't see any over spray on the tree! pretty sweet looking pump and with minimal effort too. And that is attractive to all of us! And as Jack Sim is fond of telling us, this what was done in the bad ole days. Send someone out with paint and a brush and cover that 3rd layer of paint with some more paint

100% improvement over the white look . It will look good either way , stain or no stain IMO. Thanks for always posting your projects Matt. I like that scheme with that mobil logo.

I like SINCLAIR and old American made stuff ... No china items.
