As you can see a couple of my other Pure Oil 6' signs have black wood frames (one original) so I decided to frame my new find to match (and hold it better).

So I know it's not original but what do you guys think?

Good idea or not?

Yes,excellent idea,sets the sign off perfectly.I do the same on some with rough edges.
