I have agreed to purchase two of these three pumps. I don't have much space for them. I am not buying the gas boy at this time.

My first question is regarding the pump plate on the smaller one...do they usually only have one? It appears that the other side is not even drilled. Does the plate look original? I will be picking them up next weekend.

Do these pumps rank high on the collectibility market?

Any other feedback or thoughts is always welcome.

The pumps are low on collectable list as they are pretty common, but they have some nice original patina that they could be cleaned up a little and wired up without restoration and look great.

Nice finds. Pumps didn't always have plates on both sides, especially if they were farm pumps or rebranded from a brand that didn't use plates at all. Doors got changed over the years and other factors might determine whether a door had a plate on it or not. The Shamrock plate is probably original as the pump looks like it is in original condition. Not sure that plate was ever reproduced but it may have been. As far as collectibility goes, both pumps are common but desirable with the Wayne 70 probably more so than the Bennett. Good solid pumps are getting harder to find every day......GB

I would take all three.. I agree with Rabbitman solid pumps are scarce now days...If you get them cheap enough, sell the ones you don't want and keep one.

I ran into a pump recently that only had one pump plate. It was used in front of a store near the porch. Only one side was ever seen. The other pump was by itself on the island. Go figure.

The Wayne 70 is at the top of my list and I think yours looks pretty good. Hopefully the four missing ad glasses didn't allow too much weather inside.

Unfortunately the ad glass was there a year ago when the guy wouldn't sell. Now he sells after it was broke out...go figure.

Aw man. I guess you were able to cut a better deal with all four missing. How about the globe?

What brand was the ad glass? It appears to have had multiple decals and color schemes over the years. It makes for a nice look.

The pump has a faint Chevron logo on each side. Looks very cool after we cleaned it up. The globes and glass are gone, but I bought 3 other pumps that a couple have some awesome Skelly glass in them. I will post pics of them all soon.

I would put some glass in it, a globe on it and re wire, the patina looks too good to restore it. Glad you got them.

Thanks, Phil

I would try to clean that chevron logo on the Wayne up.
Looks killer in that shape. Phil, your right to leave this one be.

Does anyone know where I could find some replacement Chevron ad glass? Need a hose and handle too. And the little side door is Mia.
