I am having trouble determining this Continental lighted sign as a "Lincoln-Continental" or something else "Continental" (e.g.: Continental Airlines?). Anyone know?

It is very unique. The "Continental" is all glass, not plastic and all the letters are embossed. I have never seen anything quite like it. There is no indication of a manufacturer on the back but the can is old.

Any insight from the collectors would be appreciated.

Can you elaborate? What makes it the Continental Tire sign? I never saw one of these in embossed glass ever before? What's the approx. age? Thanks.

The font and colors match their logo. I don't know a age but would guess the 1960s??
Cool sign and good luck!

Is that their old logo? Every logo I see for continental tire has a C that wraps around the O. There also Contintal batteries and seals but they don't match.

Hey Steve. If not tires, the sign could possibly be from Continental Motors. They supplied engines for many Independent auto makers, tractors, stationary engines, etc.
