So I do not own any pumps as of today, but am buying 5 on Saturday. I am pretty unaware of these and if they are collectible. I have slowly been finding the types online, but are replace, net parts tough to come by? Are they worth grabbing? Look rougher than what I was told, but cool.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I will be able to post more pics on Sunday.

They are worth getting unless over priced. The two on the ground are easy to get parts for. They are a Tokheim 39 tall and a Wayne 70. The one standing is a Bennett 371. Parts are hard to come by for this one. Looks like there is one door for it on the ground. If the other one is not there it will be hard to find one.

The seller said both doors are there. I just looked on eBay and there are very few parts for the Bennett

If both doors are there it is worth getting. It looks rough but is repairable.

I NEVER pass on a pump unless it is TOTAL junk. If you have some room and the price is right, buy them. It's all about price. Pump parts are getting harder and harder to find, but don't just look on Ebay. Post under "wanted" here on the site.
Good luck.

Be sure to stand those pumps up before committing to buy, Could be nothing left on that side.

Agree with above, don't pass if priced reasonable and definitely stand them up first.

Thanks, Phil

Any more of your pump book being printed? Anyone have a copy they do not need any longer? I would enjoy both books!

Ended up with 6 great pumps today! Will try to get pics online when I get them home tomorrow...also ended up with 1 1/2 1967 Harley Davidson Aermacchi Motorcycles, one was once mine and has a very rare tank...

My back is killing me.

Hopefully my book will be going to press soon. Am presently looking for an editor who is experienced in working with illustrations instead of text.

For those of you who do not have a copy of either of my books I suggest you purchase them as E-books from Amazon. The Krause Publishing Co., has quit sending me royalties so there is nothing in it for me. I would suggest purchasing the 2nd Edition, it basically has the same stuff as the 1st Edition, but with a lot more. The cost is only about $20.00 and you can down load it to your tablet and have it with you when you find a pump.

I always include this information. When you use the E-Book, there will only be one picture on each page so it is a little hard to compare it another pump. The important thing is, the caption is always below the pump, so if you are looking a a picture of a pump and there is a caption above it, that caption is for the previous pump, not the one you are looking at.

Since I have made it a policy not to take email addresses from Old Gas, I suggest you send me an email stating you would like to be added to the list of those who want to know when the book is available. jhsim@petrocollect.com

Last one from the farm...

Two of the pumps have Skelly ad glass. It is a shame some broke.
