I bought a pair of these this weekend from a friend. He said he had them for years. I am hoping they are real and not reproductions. Could someone give some advice or guidance?

Thanks In advance,

Jeff

Sinclair is real.
In my opinion, the Dixie and Harley are fake...

Thank you Wes. I bought a pair of the Sinclair plates. Did not want the others.

Real deal. You can look in the repop sign section on old gas and see photos to see the difference.

It's real.

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Real. the loop in the r is curved down on the fake one the r goes up somewhat. Dave the energy you used to make a negative comment you could of made a constructive comment. we look for your expertise in these matters. you have to expect a lot of repetitive questions in this type of forum. Please don't take it as an insult of your intelligence.

...and the time you used to post that, could have been used to research old threads...
