This show at the start is like walking into a bee hive. That is why I take my time and have breakfast. I have a hard time with big crowds wanting to trample you to get to something first. If there is something there for you , you will find it.

After awhile I got tired and sat to rest. While I sat I had a conversation with a nice lady and she told me she had a gas pump she might sell. I got her # and said I would call her next week. You never know when the next find will come.

Always have to have the fakes floating around.

Here are a few signs at a shop down the road.

Well that's all for today. In the morning I will check out the J&J show for a few hours then I need to head on up the road. There is a big auction on Saturday in NH. that I want to check out.

Thanks for the great pics! This show looks huge! Would love to see an aerial shot of the whole place.

Buying signs at these shows is so hard for a guy like me. Take that Socony Motor Oils sign, I would have no idea if that is fake or not. No matter how bad I wanted it, I couldn't buy it.

Something strange about that mannequin, is it a life size Bruce Jenner transitional doll?

That was a nice clean Socony sign. I asked even throw I have one already. I think he said 8 which was too high for a common sign.
The only way to know if a sign is real is to educate yourself. Read everything , go to all the shows, look at everything and talk with people. Not long and you will be able to spot most of the fakes from across the field. Some are much harder but there are differences. I bought a sign the other day and the more I think about it I believe it is a repo. I will know for sure when I get home and compare. Education is not cheap.
