Can anyone tell me more about American Gasoline pump signs - is this the same company as Standard Oil ? This is the sign with the eagle. Any idea on the ago of an original sign ?

Don't know about the signs. The globe with the eagle pictured was from the 1930's. They used different globes later.

The company was American Oil and Gas. They were bought by Standard of indiana.


Wanted: Gas pump globes:Sinclair & affiliates, IL companies. Ripple bodies. Anything Sinclair, Stoll, Pierce, 4 Bros.
