so today, i go on a pick not expecting to come across anything out of the ordinary. Wife and friends in tow. On the ground in front of me i see this absolute gem of a gauge and for the price of a really nice quart can, i acquire this immediately. I am guessing it is a pretty uncommon piece simply because in 10 years of collecting i havent come across one. Thrilled to add it for sure. Well, before i left, having spent no more than the price of a second nice quart can, i obtain the following items. Now, the piece sitting on top of the cans, although not at all anywhere near perfect, even though damaged, deserves a spot on the shelf for sure.! Got the additional pieces in a baggie and am thrilled to have it in my collection even though the wife asked me why would i want a broken globe. Hope i am not alone as there are others whom would feel it worthy to put on a shelf for the price of a quart can.

Nice globe to bad on the damage. Saw that globe at Columbus for a couple of years. Ted

I would have scooped that up as well, some things just need to be rescued! Great finds!

Some things just need a home and I have done the same with some pieces in my collection. They just need to be saved.
