I think a onetime bid that no one can see by email to Oldgas or someone delegated, will eliminate most of the work. You bid once, winner announced, payment sent to Oldgas and seller.. done deal The Sealed Bid sale..working well since Julius Ceasar sold off the excess chariots during the Empire downsizing !!! I have with using eBay is the lack of participation. I just don't think anybody will take the time to search for eBay auctions JUST to help the site. Also lost is the "feelgood" factor by keeping identities secret with one-time sealed/hidden bids. I know I would be proud to see my donated item bring in bucks for the maintenance of Oldgas, and equally proud for my Oldgas friends to see me as high bidder on something. These are just MY thoughts---keep that input coming! I'm gonna do a test run probably next week just to show y'all how easy this is(IF it's okay with our moderator )
